I will be starting with a £500 bank with 5% deduction to betfair prices that i achieve and i shall make every effort to post the selections up as early as possible together with the prices that i would have taken at that time.

Hello Fragle and welcome.
I love systems but in my experience they do work for a while but the for completely no reason, they stop.
I used to follow a system in the 1980's on greyhound forecast betting, in 2 or 3 weeks I had won over £3000. I was already considering giving up the day job :). However, it just stopped working and has never to my knowledge returned to it's former glory.
I will certainly be interested to see your results and who knows you may wake these forums up.

thanks for that i thought i was doing something wrong there for a while, 3k eh thats good going never been able to drum up enough interest in the dogs dept tbh as for systems well yes they are a strange thing like you said they can work very well for long or short periods and stop but i find them interesting and enjoy coming up with ideas of my own and testing them out to see what happens, sinse i enjoy the horses it adds a little bit of extra interest to the sport for me anyway and thats why i have decided to test this one as its only for the aw season it could prove to be ok as the season is a short onejust have to wait and see how things go.

Well a good start to this with only one horse getting placed makes a change from the usual first post disasters that normally happen but a full house to start this off with is good all i have to do now is keep it that way for as long as possible.

Good Luck with day two and well done with your first day. I'm a betting man myself. I do lay but only on the horses I bet to win and then lay at skinny odds in running to get my stake back should they look all over the winner but then get stuffed on the line or fall at the last, all the great number of reasons why a winner turns into a second or even a loser.
It;s a profitable way of betting because for a small part of your potential winnings you can insure against a lot of mishaps.

Oh well not such a good day today with a big priced horse winning but then again thats the chance i take but the other lays reduced the damage and its still early days for this so not to worry plenty of time to recover and if i had waited until later in the day i may have got a better prices for some of these (remember the importance of Value in your lays).

Don't worry to much about the loss that's what tends to destroy discipline. If your theory is sound your good days will outnumber your bad and there will always be bad days.
WOW. I just had a luck we tipped Anaya as a red hot certainty in the same race as Shoot The Pot won. We where both stuffed. I think the weather is making it very difficult at the present, some very odd results.

No it never really does bother me that much as with anything it's a mathmatical fact that losing days will occur they cannot be avoided even though that is hard for some people to understand thats why most systems fail as they cannot cope with a long losing run/s, i did have the formula for it in excel but have lost it again so i will have to serch the net for it again. Yes Anaya was a horse i thought would have got there also Grams And Ounces at least the latter one got placed, been a couple of good performances today at kempton maybe they have added to the surface recently i dont know if you have and speed ratings fans here as they can sometimes tell ?.New Leyf was another 2nd at 25/1 that suprised me as well. Funny old game this racing lark lol.

Cant believe that Celtic Sovereign won that race but there you go folks never can tell in this game whats going to happen with the RUK tv channel saying that some of todays races have posted the fastest times for such low grade horses with one race being within 4 tenths of a second of the Standard time
